We spent our youth in the days of "Camelot", when America was at it's apex! John F. Kennedy was president, and the movies included "The Sound of Music", "West Side Story", "The Graduate", "Doctor Zhivago", "Lawrence of Arabia" and "A Hard Day's Night". See what life looked like, back then!
As they say, "It Seems Like Yesterday!" Would you believe its been 50 years. The extended "Tribute to the Roomates" video mainly spans the period of 1958 through 1965, and then jumps forward to the later years. We, our children, our grand children, and we hope you, are still enjoying "Doo Wop"!
The Extended Edition (1 hour, which had to be "chopped into 7 chapters due to YouTube limitations of 10 minute max segments) was created to include more information, photos, and all of the Roomates' music. Lots of photos (especially for the Catskills and Palisades Park) were added to provide visual variety while all the music plays. Hopefully, this will also provide insight about the NY scene in the 50's and 60's.
