Everything that you see on stage and every emotion that you feel when you see the dancers perform, comes from a team effort--a large team made up of dancers, choreographers and support personnel. These people are volunteers. They do what they do for the love of dance and the pride of artistic achievement. Showcase performances are especially important because the format as practiced by SLDC allows new upcoming, as well as some seasoned choreographers an opportunity to show their personal work. In this show you will see many dance styles as well as music from all periods and types. The one thing all this music has in common is that at one time in their respective genre they were all hits!
