The prompt was simple: create a 20–30 second video answering the question “What has science done for me?” or “What has science done for somebody I know?” The results were tremendous. We received hundreds of creative videos from college-bound US high school seniors in every corner of the country, detailing the impacts of science in their everyday lives, from driving to school in the mornings to battling (and beating) skin cancer.
