Both artists have had a considerable impact on the development of electronic music on the Indian subcontinent, and this joint EP follows the hugely well received They Don't Know EP that dropped on Octopus earlier this year. Title track 'Mixed Signals' is a pulsating bass-driven roller, with a huge breakdown and shuffling, urgent percussion carrying things along. 'THIS' keeps up the heat, transmitting a trance-y, hypnotic vibe and developing a sense of euphoric space while staying firmly locked into the dancefloor. As Shaun states, “both THIS & Mixed Signals were made keeping a simple arrangement in mind and focussing on the bass, vox sample and main hook to compliment each other and drive the track through”.
