Laser Hair Removal Machine at Pulse Light Clinic
At Pulse Light Clinic, we use the GentleMAX Pro by Syneron Candela, a premium, FDA-approved laser on two wavelengths: the Alexandrite and Nd: Yag. These lasers damage the follicle enough to reduce hair regrowth without harming the surrounding tissue and skin. During the treatment, you will feel a slight, hot pricking sensation in the treated area; this is the heat hitting the hair root and destroying the blood flow feeding the root.
During each session, about 10% of your hair, which is in the anagen (growth) phase, will be permanently removed as it is attached to the root at the time of treatment. The remaining hair will be damaged and fall out within two weeks, keeping you hair-free between treatments. When the hair grows back, it will be lighter and finer, reducing the likelihood of ingrown hairs.
Our state-of-the-art cooling system, attached to the laser, blows cold air throughout the treatment to make your experience more comfortable. Following your treatment, you may experience slight redness and small bumps for a few hours. You will be provided cooling aloe vera gel to apply, which you can continue using at home.
