The house is located in an extremely well-managed development (Mooban) on three plots of land
Excellent security (including CCTV) and 24/7 guards
At the foot of the mountains to the west of Chiangmai
Twenty minutes from downtown Chiangmai
Amazing swimming pool with adjacent tennis courts, restaurant, coffee shop, and Spa
Markets, supermarkets, banks, gyms, garages, post offices and some schools are only minutes away
Public transport is not so good, you need a car or m/c although GRAB (like Uber) does serve this area well
Several hospitals and dentists are within 20 minutes
20 minutes from the airport ... but far enough away that you do not hear the aircraft.
Direct flights to Hong Kong and Singapore are less than 3 hours ...... Chiangmai is a very convenient hub to travel around S.E. Asia for work or pleasure.
Most of the internet service providers can provide fiber high-speed internet directly into the house, we are spoilt for choice.
Utilities are reliable, mains water, bottled gas and electricity.
The annual Mooban management fees are about Baht 20,000 a year
We (Nong & Chris, the owners) have been living in the same Mooban ourselves since 2002 and it's brilliant !
Why are we selling? .... simple, it is time to retire. :-)
