California 2 took place at the Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California. It was the seventh qualifier for the North American Invitational Championship (NAIC), to be held in Miami, Florida this November. The historic NAIC event will showcase the top athletes who competed at FIVE events in 2014. Only athletes who placed on the podium (1st, 2nd or 3rd) at any FIVE regional event in 2014 will have qualified for invitation to the National Championship. Events across North America (California, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Illinois, Ontario, Florida) will serve as regional qualifiers for the first ever, invitation-only, Gi and NoGi North American Championship.
