Texas 2 took place 10/4 - 10/5/2014 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX. It was the eighth qualifier for the North American Invitational Championship (NAIC) which took place in Miami, Florida. The historic NAIC event showcased the top athletes who competed at FIVE events throughout 2014. Only athletes who placed on the podium (1st, 2nd or 3rd) at any FIVE regional event in 2014 qualified for an invitation to the National Championship. Events across North America (California, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Illinois, Ontario, Florida) served as regional qualifiers for the first ever, invitation-only, Gi and NoGi North American Championship.
