Demo 2012 is the first album of Croatian metal band Warden. It was recorded during 2011 and 2012, and it was released November 19th 2012. It contains six original songs by the band and two covers. As it was written over the period of three years, there were a lot of different influences like Pantera, Kreator, Amon Amarth, Dethklok, Crowbar... Because of that every song leans towards different genre. Warden's style is best represented in "Welcome To Reality" and "Same As Before". The lyrics are mainly about political problems in the world. Album was recorded in band's home studio and rehearsal room "Gajba" in Bilje, Croatia. It was engineered and produced by Tomislav Mor. On songs 4 and 5 main vocals were performedby Ivan Vampatić, and on songs 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8 by Tomislav Mor. Lyrics for "God Of Your World" were written by Tomislav Mišić, a friend of Tomislav Mor and his former bandmate from Pandemonium. Lyrics for "Monuments Of Lies" were also written by Tomislav Mišić, but they were rearranged by Tomislav Mor. All of the music was composed by Tomislav Mor with a help of Zvonimir Mor on "Monuments Of Lies". Mastering was done by Tomislav Mor in his home studio, in November 2012. Album cover was created by Tihomir Mor. Photography was done by Ana Ursić, band's no. 1 fan and a personal friend.
