This playlist is in memory of Liv Marit Wedvik's music. Liv Marit Wedvik (born January 16, 1970 in Skien , died May 23, 2015 in Risør ) was a Norwegian country artist and presenter. Liv Marit Wedvik debuted in 2003 with the album "Then he Kissed Me". Liv Marit was awarded a platinum certification from her record label Showtime Records same year. She release 3 album during the Showtime Records periode, her mix between old pop and country songs struck among the people in Norway. Liv Marit sought a slightly more modern country music style and went to EMI Music 2005. There she did not succeed as expected so that led to EMI Music canceling the agreement for 3 albums after 2 releases. In 2006, she was the program director for the reality TV series Wild West (Ville Vesten) on TV3. In the fall of 2007, she participated in the reality TV series "Shall We Dance" on TV 2 where she ended up in 5th place. She graduated as a dental assistant in 1993 and had a career as a musician beside her work as dental assistant. Liv Marit was very popular and very well liked by all people she met.
