I LAMANTIDE, da Cremona, hanno mosso i primi passi negli ultimi mesi del 2009. Ispirati dalle sonorità a cavallo tra hardcore e metal cominciano a lavorare alla stesura delle prime canzoni che verranno registrate con la formazione originaria nel 2011. Dopo la pubblicazione, l'anno successivo, dell'EP omonimo e un primo cambio della sezione ritmica comincia un periodo intenso di attività live. All'inizio del 2013 un altro avvicendamento alle pelli li porta a prendere la forma definitiva e ad incrementare il ritmo delle esibizioni in Italia ed in Europa (Austria, Germania, Svizzera, Rep. Ceca) dividendo il palco con alcune delle band più importanti del panorama post-hardcore italiano (Stormo, O, Sunpocrisy, Hungry Like Rakovitz, End Of A Season, Last Minute To Jaffna....) e straniere (Jungbluth, Celeste, I Not Dance, Heartless/ex-Masakari...). A partire dalla seconda metà del 2014, dato l’innesto di nuovi membri che hanno inevitabilmente portato nuove influenze musicali e un diverso approccio alla composizione, la band ha sentito la necessità di creare qualcosa che rispecchiasse la sua attuale personalità, concentrandosi sulla scrittura di nuovi brani frutto del lavoro congiunto di tutti e 4 i membri. Questo materiale va ora a costituire "CARNIS TEMPORA: ABYSSUS", la cui uscita è prevista per il 26 ottobre 2015. LAMANTIDE, from Cremona (IT), moved the first steps in the last months of 2009. Inspired by sounds between hardcore and metal they started working on their first songs that was recorded with the original formation in 2011. After publishing, the next year, the self titled EP and after a first change of rhythm section they started an intensive live activity. At the beginning of 2013, due to another drummer's change, the band reached its definitive shape and increased the pace of live performances in Italy and in Europe (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic) sharing the stage with some of the most important italian (Stormo, O, Sunpocrisy, Hungry Like Rakovitz, End Of A Season, Last Minute To Jaffna....) and foreign (Jungbluth, Celeste, I Not Dance, Heartless/ex-Masakari...) post-hardcore band. In the second half of 2014, since the addition of new members have inevitably brought new musical influences and a different compositional approach, they felt the need to create something that reflected the band’s current personality; they focused on writing new material as a result of the joint work of all the 4 members of the band. This material is part of the new EP "CARNIS TEMPORA: ABYSSUS", whose release is planned on October 26th, 2015.
