Stats will say its 2015 but for me its 2011 because he defeated a peak Nadal , Murray and a healthy Federer multiple times along with always dangerous players at their prime like Tsonga , Berdych , Ferrer etc Along with a 43 consecutive match winning streak it was one of the most special seasons ever in ATP history.

2015 for achievements, 2011 for competitiveness. 2023 was a surprising season given his age. Too bad he stalled in the second half of 2016, but his runs in AO, Doha, IW, and Miami were phenomenal.

Imo, holding 4 slams at once along with his peak 2011, 2021 and 2023 seasons is what alone sets him apart from any other tennis player on earth.

On paper its 2015 but for me its 2011, he beat Nadal in 6 freaking finals plus a 7th final at AO 2012, went undefeated until RG semifinals, got to world no.1 for the first time and also beat Roger 4 times , that’s 10-1 against Nadal and Roger !!!

The best run of form in recent memory, without a shadow of doubt, is Djokovic 2011 up through the US Open. In fact the other contenders are not even close, not even Fed 2006 or Djokovic 2015. Up through the US Open he went 64-2, winning 5 Masters, 3 majors, and 10 titles overall. Most importantly, he beat Federer 4/5 times and beat Nadal in SIX consecutive finals on three different surfaces for a combined record of 10-1 against 2 players who were considered by many then to be the two best of all time. It’s not even close, the answer is 2011

2011, 10-1 to Federer and Nadal and they were in their peaks. You can't say the same for 2015, tho Djokovic had a better season overall. Competitiveness and context is very important in the comparatives.

I like 2011 the most. That's when he made his initial statement of superiority. But what I love most is, He beat Nadal in all six of their meetings. Which were All in the Finals of both 1000's and Slams, on all surfaces.
