No video this week…

About a week ago, I was hit with the heavy realisation that I just fell out of love with YT so I’m taking more time between videos to find my passion, energy and excitement again. Feeling hopeful though! Thanks for understanding. :)

@JediBunny

You’ve been putting out incredible quality content regularly for so long. We appreciate you for all you’ve done. You deserve to live your life for yourself first and foremost, so please do take good care of yourself and we’ll be here if/when you’re ready to return!

You’re one of my favorite YouTubers on Horror and Movies on here. Don’t think you’re losing anything by taking a break. You’re always producing excellent work. Keep it up and rest easy!

Take your time man. Being consistent in quality and schedule while not getting copyright struck/shafted by the algo is tiring. Do what you gotta, can't speak for everyone else but I'm here to stay.

No worries man, your own wellbeing should always be first. You put out incredibly consistent work for a long period of time- essentially a critical essay on top of an editing project and then hours of audio work, all in the course of a week- like infinite university crunch time hell. Take your time brother. Life isn't supposed to be a grating experience

Just want to say, I have really appreciated your content over the last few years. The quality has only ever gone up, and your videos have been a special treat for me. Whatever you do next, I hope you bring that spark with you. It's truly something special.

Thank you for all your awesome videos! It’s hard when you build an amazing YouTube channel and community and it begins to feel like an obligation. Personally, it’s refreshing to see a break for you! You’ve put out so much amazing content and sometimes it re-humanizes your art. Thank you, Ryan!!!

I grew up in a household that practically banned horror. You sir have been my one stop redemption arc for the macabre. Your work is good and worth everyone’s time, hope you get good rest, respite, and to find the passion for what’s next. Cheers mate.

I’ve been a follower for many years Ryan, I really appreciate all the amazing videos you’ve put out over the years. Relax and take as much time as you need!

I love your content Ryan, your taste in movies is so near to mine and you so often review my favourite movies with the same opinions I have but also give me some new perspectives too. When you review a movie I haven't seen yet and you title in a way that I know you've enjoyed it, I instantly go and watch it so I can see your take on it. Thank you for all movies you've supplied me with. I hope you find something else to be passionate about and enjoy taking some time for self care. Much love 🖤

You’re one of the more prolific creators that I subscribe to. I really appreciate that you have been able to make so much, but it’s clearly a very demanding job and you deserve a break. If you can swing it, it may be a good idea to take a greater chunk of time to really let yourself rest. I hope that your able to find a creative outlet that makes you happy ❤️

Just adding my note of appreciation for all your videos. They offer great insight into movies I’ve loved and some I haven’t seen yet and some I may never have the nerve to watch, hoyeverrr they are always produced with care and thoughtfulness. May you find your bliss in the balance your seeking.

You’ve been on the grind for way longer than I anticipated, I’m surprised you haven’t already covered every horror movie. Do what speaks out to you the most and I’m sure you’ll be able to make it interesting!

Hands down my top 5 (out of dozens) of content creators with the personal touch and historical context you add to your subjects. HOWEVER, you have to do what is best for YOU. We'll be here whenever you are able. No matter how long that takes. Your mental health is more important than our entertainment.

Man I’ve enjoyed and looked forward to your video essays for quite awhile, you have such a way with writing and words I loved getting your analyses. Take whatever time you need to find your passion again my friend, and we’ll follow you to whatever platform or space you go to next!

Ryan I’ve said it before, but The Leftovers on HBO (specifically seasons 2 and 3) plus your analysis is a match made in heaven … I keep my fingers crossed!!

Take Christmas off and enjoy yourself mate. If you can muster a single cheeky vid for Christmas, I'll be thrilled. And if not, it won't even slightly impact how much I'm a fan of your work ✌️
