On Sept. 11, 2001, U.S. Army Reservist, Sgt. Lawrence Provost was substitute teaching just north of Syracuse, N.Y. Upon learning of the attacks on the #WorldTradeCenter and #Pentagon, Provost instinctively drove four hours to New York City to assist first responders and aid search and rescue crews at ground zero. A year later, Provost deployed with his @USArmyReserve unit to Afghanistan as part of the war on terrorism.
