Still remember experiencing The Fragile for the first time in 1999. After years of listening to mostly grunge, it was like finding God. For me, this is THE most important album of my lifetime. Redefined my taste in music. Masterpiece.

I was a huge fan of The Downward Spiral, literally played it to CD death mid to late 90s. I'll never forget walking into Virgin Megastore on release day and seeing the Fragile on display, with no knowledge of its existence prior, and buying it on the spot. Spent the whole day playing both sides all the way through on repeat.

This album made me cope with my undiagnosed mental illness

The most beautifully haunting music. You can taste the solitude and grief in so many lines from the album. Got me through some very dark periods in life as it seems same for many of you too. This is one of those albums that can be a critical companion amid grief/mourning either actual death or the end of a life era (job, marriage, situation). Underrated masterpiece.

Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral, The Fragile...a terrific hat-trick! I think I listened to these albums until I was exhausted, I think I destroyed the CDs due to wear and tear 🖤

The eyes reminds me of that fallen angel painting...so much raw emotion and intensity

The opening track Somewhat Damaged and that fade into TDTWWA is chef's kiss.

I have such a vivid memory of the first time I listened to this album. It was early in the morning and rainy out so I sat and listened to The Fragile in its entirety and I just felt so connected to the songs and that moment in time. It always makes me feel nostalgic and hopeful and to this day I remember exactly how I felt while listening to this beautiful album and how much it inspired me. The Fragile is one of those albums that you need to listen to from start to finish because it really does take you there. Preferably with quality headphones 🎧 on a rainy day
