Leading by example.

Telling them specific qualities, strengths, and awesome actions they do that caught my eye. Always telling them a truth, not a false compliment. Things that majority don't notice. And always telling their personal name. That's the sweetest sound to the ear. Be observant.

By becoming the change I wish to see. Being the Example.

Identifying their uniqueness, and giving them a push to pursue a life driven by it.

I listen closely to them, then say "tell me more." Then I paraphrase to let them know they have my undivided attention and/or ask questions to encourage them to think bigger or from different perspectives. In short, I offer them a mirror....and free therapy! Damn, I'm a great friend!

The events of the last week have convinced me that positive change is not possible. Laws, justice, none of these things are real. Life is just a joke and our suffering is the punchline

In the past when l was younger & thought you could make a difference (🤣) l would have said Lead by example, motivational coaching, mentoring etc. I now say, nothing. I don't care. l do not waste my time and resources on this any more. No one wants guidance, or to do the work and develop the tools to lift themselves up & to take responsibility; they want carrying and bailing out. They want handouts, not a helping hand up. So I just watch the fallout from the staggeringly pervasive Dunning Kruger effect and wonder how they get through the day

For the past many years I am planting each year more than 100 tree/ plant saplings on the National Tree Planting day in Australia, and also request my acquaintances to let us work together on the concept of TEAM ( together everyone achieves more) for doing this noble work for the sustainability of the ecosystem.

Personal storytelling only works when they consider you something of high regards . Otherwise it may not work

Be someone who you want others to be. People will then look up to you.

You lie to them, listen to their concerns and pretend to be on their side and do something about it if they vote for you and when your in power abandon them for your own selfish gain, Trump Bible 101.

I tried everything yet nothing works much in case of inspiration to change. Things do work for moments and sometimes smaller progress are made. Yet no significant inspiration occurs. No change-like things occur

@askadia

To think you have the wisdom to inspire change in someone else is presumptuous.

Be the change you want to see in the world - M. Gandhi - live an authentic life others will naturally want to emulate.

My family is religious so we encourage each other with verses and examples from the Bible. Even if you don't know alot about it, it can definitely help!

I shut up and mind my own business. If they want to change, they will. If they want my help, they can ask. Or, they can read one of the thousands of books on the subject. Seek and ye shall find.
