Networking: Do I really need to PHYSICALLY write down the name of every person I network with, at every meeting, in a notebook?

Answer: Only if you want more customers, more sales, more money and if you want to help more people.

The boring, repetitious stuff is the bit that allows you to be completely switched on in the moment when you truly need it. Everyday I talk to entrepreneurs and they all say the same thing, that they want MORE. More customers, More sales, More money, helping More people. When I ask them how many people have they networked with this year, how many meetings have they attended, how many 121’s have they had, they answer that they don’t know.

Selling is math. It’s all built in numbers. The first numbers are: Who are the people you’re networking with? For some this is an excel sheet listing everyone. An excel sheet is the equivalent of turning up to basketball training on 1st January, training once for 10 hours and expecting to be let on the court in December to play in the finals.
