On this day (May 29th, 2020), Ro James @RoJamesXIX released his sophomore album, Mantic. At the time, the world's in a surreal place, unfortunately it was overlooked.
I will say though, that Ro always been a great artist/performer, and it shows with this album that he cements himself as a serious all arounder when it comes to music genre. A body of work with production that's up to par with his talents as a singer and songwriter. To paraphrase one of Ro's influences, the purple one- props to Ro for proving that albums still matter. 🌹
My faves: Be Mine, Baby Blue, Slow Down (feat. Masego), Too Much (feat. Miguel) and The Look of Things (OutRO)
