I'm sure the Grilled cheese Les Paul sounds fat and warm...Maybe a bit greasy too... But I'm ordering the SG instead...

Would love to see more colours on Flying V's. It's always white, black, cherry, CAR (oh sorry sparklibg burgundy haha) or natural. Some blue would be cool like the Les Paul. SGs too, they could be more colourful outside of the custom shop line. Les Paul gets all the attention. But I think the SG has been your best selling guitar many times, especially in the 60s, now probably Les Pauls do actually sell more but among non traditionalist, youbger guitar player that do want some more playability and ergonomic considerstions, the SG is by fsr the most popular guitar. Les Pauls will always sell so I think the SG and the V need more love, they will only get more popular. I would make the headstock angle like an Epiphone, many of these younger players prefer good design over tradition and objectively 14° is better than 17°. Easier to have good tuning stability, a bit less risk of breakage. The volute was a bit extreme and didn't really solve the problem but a bit chunkier would be good. And more modern features. Definetly classic SGs too but it should be available with some modern comforts like locking tuners. That should really start to be available, my 370€ Harley Benton LP clone has locking tuners that are better than Fender, I put them on my Epiphone too. And it's an easy thing to have as an optional add on, the guitars can be identical no extra routing or whatever. The traditional line should remain that, those guitars are great but Gibson has definetly become risk averse with new ideas. The trick is not to market them to the traditionalists, they don't want locking tuners but to player more interested in such things. I like what you guys are doing with the Les Paul Studio, not as much, Les Paul for poor people like me but modern, all sorts of colours etc and no unnecessarily cost increasing stuff. Affordable guitars have become extremely good.
