This was genuinely so unexpected. David Lynch is a staple in film school culture. He always had a very weird influence on movies. Sure he was pretentious, but that was his charm. He always made those trippy, weird, complex movies. He did whatever he liked to with this medium. And I commend him for that. May his soul rest in paradise. Introduced me to a whole new subgenre of movies.

I am heartbroken. Mulholland Drive was my entry into his filmography, and it was definitely the greatest film I have seen, once you start going down the rabbit hole, its impossible to ever look back. Thank you Lynch!

I know Lynch made some of the iconic movies and they're amazing and Lynch is recognised by them, but there is this film 'The Straight Story' which I really love among his other popular ones which is not often named. For those who haven't seen the film please do.
