DIY PETE

Hey guys!

I'm continuing to plan new resources and projects for 2024 and want to hear what your woodworking skill level is.

On a scale of 1-5 ( 1 being beginner and 5 being expert ) what would you say your skill level is? Please let me know your rating in the pole below.

Your feedback will give me the best opportunity to create the most helpful and valuable content for you this year.

Thanks!

Let me know if you have project ideas you'd like to see in 2024. Second, would you like to learn via Youtube videos, an online course, a book, or some other form? Please comment below!

Wow, 300 votes and still coming in. And thank you to anyone who comments to share some feedback as well. ALL SO HELPFUL! Many of you are in the beginner to intermediate ratings which is great. And fun to hear about the experts and folks who have perfected their craft! Looking forward to hearing from more of you. Thanks again!

A buddy of mine had a really cool cedar chest with a cooler inside. It was on his back patio next to the grill. I was envious and asked where he bought it. He replied that he built it himself. I was immediately impressed and said I’d love to build that but don’t have the woodworking skills. He then explained how he watched your video on YouTube University and shared the video with me. I dove in. First thing I bought were some expensive heavy duty casters. Then i borrowed his kreig jig and followed ur video. To this day I still marvel at the creation that came out of this experience. I customized the cedar “cooler” bbq station and cherish it every time I grill. I even bought a cover for it. (Tall cover for a smoker works great) Bottom line, you’re a great teacher and have helped me learn to be courageous with my woodworking abilities

Most of the projects I am doing now are farm-related projects. Would love to see some things about small shop ideas, and affordable, outdoor work setups. I prefer videos, but if you have plans available to go along with your videos, I am always interested in plans. Love the videos, I am just down the road outside of Belgrade, you are always welcome to come and film at my place if you need a farm or agriculture project.
