It looks like its going to be one of those where the names in the credits mean more than the actual movie and the movie is made by people who never played minecraft before.

Animation would’ve probably been a better choice in my opinion. Also do you guys think Steve (if he could talk) would act like Jack Black? Personally I think not, I always thought he was more like old Kratos. Man of few words and would always say just enough to get a message across.

Why don't they make the animated film like they did with Lego? At least the characters would be as we know them from the game. And I also think most fans didn't want a "mix" with humans, it's not something that makes a lot of sense in the Minecraft universe. And from the trailer they come from the Nether Portal, which is not a Portal to the human dimension...

I love how the got the blockiness into the terrain and trees, but im really not sure on the llama or sheep (and possibly other mobs)
