If you haven't given Beach Boys Love You a chance please do. It's weird, but there's something really compelling about it. One of my favourites. After Pet Sounds, and not counting Smile as it didn't get a release: Beach Boys Love You Surfs Up Sunflower Wild Honey Friends 20/20, Holland, Carl and the Passions are so good, too. I like the early stuff but it's patchy and they were still developing as an album band.

M.I.U, L.A., Keeping the Summer Alive, The Beach Boys (1985), Still Cruising…. I know, I know, but just saying the last couple of years The Beach Boys have become part of the ‘serious’ side of classic rock. They’re equally as much a fun band with super fluffy tunes - also on these albums - that work pretty well on a sunny day in a lounge chair with margarita in hand. 🏖️ 🧘
