Velma is an example of "sometimes a creator should not be given complete creative control"

Best thing about the show is that it ends with Velma going to hell if we don’t count the Halloween special.

Yea and no. Yes because it was garbage. No because I loved everyone’s angry reactions to it 🤣 super entertaining

I'm sad for the animators tho didn't deserve that. They did really good with what they were given

Happy in the sense I don't have to be subjected to Mindy Kaling's torture practice Sad because those animators definitely need new jobs

On one hand, at least we don't have to deal with the real Velma's good name being besmirched anymore. On the other hand, I feel terrible for the animators who lost their jobs.

Not that the artists lost their jobs. For that color palette and shadow works was lit. Hope they move into resurrecting the Hex Girls movie and giving the characters more personality.

I say we give Scrappy an apology. He's not the worst thing that's happened to this franchise...

That’s like asking someone if they like being at DMV sober.

I think that show was an example of a writer wanting to tell a story and a company wanting to drain an IP for name recognition but the two were never working together on either goal

@GoodJollyDay

No and not because I liked the show or anything but because that means more animators are without a job. I've heard some people say that "if it's a cartoon people dislike they suddenly don't care about the animators anymore" and I guess they were right. Sorry to all the folks having to find another job while there's already strikes ongoing because the industry is so bad. They did a great job and deserved better

We all pray for him. We all miss him and we can't wait for him to get better and be happy again. We'll all be here when you're ready, Jack! Take your time and stay strong, we love you guys!

@Mr_TF28

Yes because that means canonically Scrappy-Doo killed Velma and dragged her to hell. Thus he has redeemed himself in my eyes.

Ain't this the same fucking studio that denied a BATMAN BEYOND FILM THAT HAS THE SAME ANIMATION STYLE AS INTO THE SPIDER VERSE?! ....wow
