What did any of the soldiers you interviewed say about their Russian opponents, their moral, their equipment, how often if ever do they surrender? I am very curious of the point of view of Russian troops, are they aware of the reality of what they are doing, or do they not want to be there.

What was the biggest surprise when visiting Kursk? Can be good or bad.

You talked a bit about how being in Ukraine impacted your view on your own time in uniform. In light of that, I’d humbly like to ask you to expand on that a bit, perhaps in a whole separate video? Not just in the geopolitical and ethical sense, but also as a Stryker man yourself did it change anything about your look in the Stryker. Or made you appreciate some aspects more.

You are the best man. I am from Ukraine, lived in the US for the last 30 years and can speak English, Ukrainian and Russian. I am not young but fit (served n the Soviet Army in the 80s), and can be a help with all the tasks. Will be happy to go with you and help to resolve whatever comes up. Will translate as well. If you plan another trip and need help - ping me. I'll pay for all my stuff. Just need a reason to go there to give to my wife and the kids.

Are there elements of US military doctrine, tactics, strategy, etc. that are now outdated/less relevant in light of what has been observed during the war? What should we prioritize in order to modernize and adapt?

Did you ever get the urge to start fighting in Ukraine, when you were there? Either long term joining up, or just an instinctive ‘grab a gun and help’ in the short term?

Will you upload more videos from your trip to Ukraine? Would love to see some footage and interactions with troops in other sectors. Great work on the video reporting from Kursk!
