Hasbro has just renewed their 40% ownership of Discovery Family to December 31, 2025. It was originally supposed to end in March.
Notably, the only series of theirs mentioned by name in the confirmation of this happening are My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop, which might be a sign that the only Hasbro franchises guaranteed to stick around on DFC are those.
All I can say for certain, though, is that it’s almost funny how Hasbro wants to keep clinging onto their stake in the channel, considering they haven’t provided anything new for it in five years.
