This was definitely my most inconsistent year in terms of content creation. I look back on the hundreds of videos I made in 2020 and 2021 and wonder, "how did I do that?"
Part of that was because I was in lockdown, and I had endless free time. Now, with in person school, I have a set schedule and a limited amount of time to create.
You could say that this year, I lost my passion, my drive to create content, for this channel specifically. However, when one thing goes south, there's always another light at the end of the tunnel.
This year, I found my passion and what I really enjoy doing. After years of trying different things and learning new skills, I've decided to still create content, but in a different way.
I've began dabbling in freelance video editing, and I plan to pursue that more. On the side, I've been working with brands and creators to push my cubing content on 5tuffz to the next level. I'm trying to combine my passion for cubing and content creation into one. That will be my main focus, trying to build that brand.
Now I'm not saying I'll stop uploading on this channel altogether, but I'm going to slow down the frequency. More so, I'm thinking about doing story based videos that are more sit down and talk, based on my own life or past experiences. Even though YouTube is moving towards short form content, I feel like long form content has a chance to leave a greater impact on a person.
Going forward, I want this channel to be more value and impact based, rather than a fast-paced attention span hacking one.
This channel just helps to bridge the gap in the content I'm creating. I'm hoping you guys will understand this shift and where I'm coming from. Hope you all had a great year!
