One of the many reasons it has taken so long to publish my upcoming cookbook is that after I submitted the manuscript, I decided to re-photograph 75% of the recipes.
Why? Because I initially had some tight deadlines, so I rushed through the photography process.
Once I saw the photos come together though, I felt disappointed. They didn't convey the excitement I had about vegan cooking and that I wanted my readers to feel.
So instead of moving forward, I took a pause. And I started re-imagining what I wanted the photos to look like and then putting that vision into action. It took an extra three months of work, but in the end, I think it was worth it.
I've shared a couple "before and after" photos below. What do you think? Can you notice the difference?
