I feel like I’m the only person on the planet who wants pro res log in cinematic mode

Should I buy 16 pro or 15 pro? I'm also disappointed about losing the 3x lens 😞

Was hoping for the larger stacked sensor and improved lens coatings. But the audio features are interesting

IPhone should’ve upped it a bit and do 4K 240 fps and 2K 960 fps two second burst since Xperia has been doing 4K 120 for years.

Manual settings is a big one for me. Like Samsungs pro video and pro photo modes

Using 3rd party free apps (like Blackmagic) you can record LOG in HEVC no problem. I do wish it was built in too ... but it's certainly easy enough to accomplish.

You can do a real-time preview of a 709 LUT in the Black Magic Camera app while recording ProRes 422 HQ. Does it specifically need to be H265? Also, love for the Stalman clamp. ✌️

iPhone ultra just seemed to good to be true, and honestly I don’t think the price point apple would put on it would ever be commercially feasible. There would be some small portion of consumers who would buy a $1600+ ultra iPhone, but I just can’t see the average consumer purchasing something like that. And I believe Apple counts on the average consumer more than the upper echelon.

Log not supporting a default Rec 709 look right out of the box is such a weird call by by apple But my biggest headache by far is the inability to use auto iso if you want to lock the shutter

I'm glad iPhone 16 has telephoto lens. Making youtube video using iPhone, we need a telephoto, not an ultra wide (with less quality above all).

You’re forgetting constant frame rate video recording. The variable frame rate nonsense is the biggest thing keeping iPhone as a “replacement” for a real camera.

Not bad, but I still really badly need some of these LOG features, they’re the biggest headache in my iPhone filmmaking pipeline
