Absolutely all of them, I don’t want to see you slap a chicken breast because you’re a grown man, I don’t want to hear about how your ex left you when all those stories are made up anyway, I don’t want to see you eat a cake pop that looks practically inedible, and no one wants to hear all the “oh this is the best so and so you will find on the internet”. Just normal cooking videos with actual recipes, please.

I really hate the theatrics and boring stories, but making clown food takes it, wasting food is not funny its embarrassing

Clown food, hyperbole, theatrics in that order. I love the personal life stuff. Can't imagine why anyone would want to watch food cook. Is food not for people all of a sudden? Is it not such an innate part of what it is to live that we all share it? Why shouldn't we, as people, share it?

when the whole video is a thirst trap and they are sexualizing the way they make food. (im not talking about just like a lil joke here and there i mean the whole video)

Telling boring personal stories has always been a problem in the cooking contemt space. Recently, I hate how creators all copy each other's mannerisms and sounds and then gradually try to one up each other in ways that are obviously faux. We need a Chinese-style reeducation camp for cooks who make vulgar sex noises, SA their own food, and try to mimic and one-up the Binging with Babish style of cinematography.

The theatrics definitely, they all copy the same handful of creators who did it first in hopes of having a personality and getting people's attention but are so played out and boring by now, some of them go way too over the top and look like complete idiots too

The theatrics kill me. I like seeing the recreations that channels like cookingwithfred make but the fucking theatrics are so annoying

All of the above. But if I had to choose, then theatrics. And overall the format of delivery. I'd rather be a fly on the wall, silently watching, instructions posted as blocks of text popping up on screen intermittently.

All of the above, in all honestly. I'm here to watch you cook, not any other the other stuff, pls...

definitely the clown food one. a lot of people who make those videos (unless they do food reviews which i get) have no real skill in cooking and probably have 10x more subscribers and views as chefs with actual talent
