We were just discussing the next Recreating Iconic Drum Sounds episodes and decided to let you choose the topic for the December video. Here's 5 options to choose from:

You guys have been awesome with regards to reggae in Black Uhuru and Bob Marley. One more I’d like to see you do is Bud Gaugh from Sublime! I think it’d get a lot of views and he has a really cool take on the classic reggae beats.

Scott Rockenfield of Queensryche! His drum tone on Operation: Mindcrime is insane

@flowerlandofjohn

Hmm, those choices didn’t speak to me. I will however give you a list for the future ✌🏻🤩 1. Stone Temple Pilots - Lounge Fly (Brendan O’Brian is always a master of drum sounds, but this track is just ridiculously alive & present) 2. Kiss - I love it loud (simply mad production on those mega-drums) 3. Mötley Crüe - Power to the music (probably the fattest drum-sound that Bob Rock ever produced) 4. New Model Army - Living in the rose (a somewhat forgotten masterpiece, and the drum-sound is just magically good) Go, go, go! ✌

Could we get Scott rockenfield sometime from Queensryke? He's a very under rated drummer

Stanley Randolph’s drum tone from his VFJams performance is crazy good as well, if you haven’t done a similar sound yet that would be amazing

It’s not on there but I’m curious to see if you guys would do Neil Peart of Rush. Idk if the sound is iconic but the style and music definitely is. The kits are so massive though so it would be a very extreme episode in the series

I can’t believe The Bee Gees got less votes than Nickelback….

Vinnie Paul of HELLYEAH, PANTERA, REBEL MEETS REBEL! His drum sound was fucking insane. So were the sizes he used!

@andrewpappas9311

Larry and Max would both be cool, and here are some additional players I'd love to see at some point (maybe you've already done some of them before, I'm not sure so correct me if I'm wrong) - Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) - Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor (Motörhead) - Scott Travis (Judas Priest) - Joey Kramer (Aerosmith) - Nick Menza (Megadeth) - Peter Criss (KISS) - Joey Castillo (Queens of the Stone Age) - Jon Theodore (The Mars Volta/Queens of the Stone Age) - Tim "Herb" Alexander (Primus) - Bill Ward (Black Sabbath) - Jon Farris (INXS) - Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) - Jimmy Chamberlain (Smashing Pumpkins) - Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble) - John Densmore (The Doors) - Nameless Ghoul (Ghost) (I know that Tobias Forge does all the stuff in the studio but I'd just love to see a video on Ghost)
