@mr.a.

Follow your heart! If you want to do it. Don't worry what others say. It's all what and how the season makes you feel. I personally love when I go to my neighbors and it's Halloween and my aunt has all her Christmas out. It makes them happy

I decorate by season so my fall stuff comes out on the first day of fall and stays out till Black Friday. I do start buying and making my Christmas decor early though.

I refuse to decorate for Christmas until Thanksgiving is over. Let fall and Thanksgiving have their turn before going straight for Christmas!

I agree people should follow their hearts. They just shouldn't "wear" their hearts on the outside of their house until around Thanksgiving.πŸ˜†πŸ˜ Meaning, if you must, decorate early inside and later outside. I do recommend getting the outside lights put all around during the fall, to avoid freezing your buns off, as well as to avoid injury with ice/snow vs ladders.πŸ˜‰ No one should actually turn ON their outside lights until around Thanksgiving.πŸ˜… Fall rocks! I use my decorations for 2 months! In early October, I pop Halloween stuff in throughout my fall decor, then just remove those "pops" after Halloween. That way, I get to enjoy my fall/harvest decor up through Thanksgiving! Strawbales, pumpkins & gourds are so precious that time of ye

I don't decorate for fall. I decorate for Halloween and then Christmas. So although I AM buying Christmas stuff now, my house is still prepared for my annual Halloween party. The moment that ends, I am decorating for Christmas! I love different seasons, but I am a festive person. However, some people skip Halloween because religious reasons or whatever preference. Some skip fall because maybe they don't care for that season. Who knows. But you do you!

I would love to say yes it's too early. But I have a village to set up. That takes time! I don't set it up quite like I used to, I live in a smaller place. But it it still involved and takes a lot of time. I usually have to start setting up in early Nov. (but then I get to enjoy the village longer as well!) People would think I was crazy if I just left it up all year -- wouldn't they?

I am making things for Christmas but haven't started decorating..I usually end up making all our jammie shirts and alot of the decor for my house and my 2 kids houses too! So I am trying to give myself time to get it together!
