1️⃣ Remind that the purpose is for the developers to align on the work that the team does and collaborate to create a plan for the next day, not to give a status update to your manager.
2️⃣ Make sure that the time works for everyone every day of the week. Find the time that everyone can commit to.
3️⃣ Stop sidetracking. Whenever someone goes into a rant, long explanation or solution, stop them and ask, will you finish in under 60 seconds? If the answer is no, then it is not part of the daily scrum.
4️⃣ Encourage people to sync up on specific topics with specific people right after the daily. Not the whole team has to be there.
