@redtsar

The ARC-170 with the two F U cannons mounted on it, will always be my favorite

@TotallyNotAFox

ARC 170 for it's intended role, it's basically a space P-61

I was 4 years old sitting in the theater in 1977. The T-65 has been an almost life-long-love. Played all the Lucas Arts X-wing games through the years. Still have Alliance with the upgrade loaded up and ready to fly. That stated, I love that Disney went back to the mid-70s Ralph McQuarrie concept art for the T-70 design. It was lovely to see that in motion on the big screen after decades of appreciating the art. Shame they didn't do better with the story/writing/development :-P

The Incom T-65 X-wing is the fighter that killed the Death Star. An almost perfect balance of speed, maneuverability, and defensive shields make it the fighter of choice for Rogue Squadron.

Z-95 for me. I loved its underdoggyness in the old SW simulators.

ARC170. Heavy armor, heavy shields, Astro mech for on-Board repairs, tail gunner. This is like the dream if you just wanna survive.

“And, yes, we could have been assigned A-wing or B-wing craft, but we're using X-wings. You may debate the merits of the various ships among yourselves, but Rogue Squadron has always been primarily an X-wing squadron, and shall remain so.” — Wedge Antilles

Arc-170 is my favorite. Large cannons, tail gunner, a bulky frame, and the lego version had a bomb bay. It reminds me of a ww2 navy dive bomber

I hated to pick the T-65 over the ARC-170, but the X-Wing is just such a classic. And I find the lack of affection for the newer X-wings slightly and oddly pleasing.

@PaiSAMSEN

Z-95 is always my favorite of the line. The post-Clone-war version is effectively an X-wing, but without it's goofy, mechanical-nightmare-looking, articulate wings system.

@ArgandTabletop

Gotta be the T-65. Michael A Stackpole and Aaron Allston made sure of that.

The ARC-170 always came in clutch during my campaigns in Republic At War (before the mod devs nerfed them).

@Jovian999

The Z-95, to me, is the purest form of the design.

T-65 hands down gotta respect the classics.

T-70 X-Wing, I like the way it captures aspects of the original X-Wing concept art.

Look... The ARC-170 is an awesome beast that looks like the Star Wars answer to the A-10 Warthog, but I gotta go with the classic T-65. A perfect, iconic fighter.

XJ series was the best.

ARC all the way baby

Voted for the Z-95, but then in most sci-fi/space opera/starfighter franchises I have a tendency to root for the underdog fighter. Not to say the Z-95 was bad - far from it - but there are definitely better fighters on this list (and it wasn't exactly a joy to fly one in X-Wing-vs-TIE fighter, as I recall...)

I love me an X-wing don’t get me wrong… but whatever genius decided, “you know the x-wing? For its predecessor Let’s give it a rear gunner like a WW2 fighter bomber and two MASSIVE cannons.” should be given more creative licence.
