Once in the cold war their was a lot of British troops in Germany. I can remember that time, the relationship was very good. I’m very glad the british army comes back to the continent. Would like them to come back to EU too. 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇺🇦 🇱🇹

UK 🇬🇧 and Germany 🇩🇪 to sign historic defence pact
The United Kingdom and Germany are set to sign a historic defense pact next week, according to The Sunday Times. This will be the most significant bilateral agreement between the two nations since 2010 and is designed to strengthen military cooperation in response to potential Russian threats in Europe.
The agreement will enable joint military exercises on NATO’s eastern flank, likely in Estonia and Lithuania, and facilitate collaborative efforts to procure more weapons. It will also support joint development and production of next-generation defense systems. British Defense Secretary John Healey expressed hope that the pact would bolster the defense industries of both countries, especially as they aim to boost production and replenish stockpiles following extensive support for Ukraine.
