3DPrintSOS

Hey Y’all,

Now that 2024 is in the rear view, I thought some of you might find it interesting how a hobbyist in this space makes “money” on YouTube. This is the breakdown for someone who doesn’t sign contracts for machines. So I rely heavily on affiliate links and selling my own products. I’m otherwise at the mercy of YouTube ads, which as some of you know, don’t pay very much.

My channel is also a bit different on top of the “no contracts” part because I don’t like to think of this as my “job”. I have a job that I love where I run a small web design firm. When I’m not doing that, 3D Printing encompasses my life in every other way. I’m passionate about it because it fascinates me. Specifically, the machines. I love tinkering and building and tweaking. So naturally, I’m drawn to the machines that enable us to create, build, and design, etc. It’s super fun and an amazing outlet to get away from a screen and tinker with something physical. Nuts, bolts, and…plastic.

Anyway, I have a ton planned for 2025! New sponsors, brands, new projects, new machines, and on top of that another kid. lol. Going to be a wild year. Content incoming.

Best,
Fedor
