Max ZT, bandleader of House of Waters, and one of the world’s pioneers of the hammered dulcimer, has released a new Son Lux remix of his track "And Bend." Son Lux is a band that has operated as something akin to a sonic test kitchen and was behind the Oscar nominated score for Everything Everywhere All At Once. Originally a part of Max’s improvised debut solo album, Daybreak, the remix presents loops of unique and beautiful textures of the dulcimer. Incorporating synth and drum & bass overdubs, we can hear the intricacies of the instrument paired with an ambient downtempo vibe. Of the video, director 3lot3ro says “The serene melodies echoed in my mind reminding me of waves drifting in and out in the vast ocean.
