Violent crime on transit systems remains an issue in major metro areas. With concerns from the public escalating, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is set to implement an AI system on Las Vegas public transport to detect firearms. The system, ZeroEyes, is designed to "identify someone brandishing a firearm in a threatening manner," said Tom Atteberry, the director of safety and security operations for the RTC.
