US fast-food chain Wendy’s is set to open its first Australian restaurant in Queensland tomorrow.
The store, located in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, will be the first of 200 Wendy’s restaurants planned for the Australian market, with the expansion expected to generate up to 40 jobs at each new location.
Burger lovers will finally be able to experience Wendy's signature menu items, including the Classic Double, Baconator, Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Australian-exclusive offerings, such as hand-breaded chicken.
California-based Flynn Group, who also acquired Pizza Hut in Australia in 2023, has partnered with Wendy’s to expand their iconic square hamburgers and chicken offering throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Aussies can visit Wendy's in the Paradise Centre on Cavill Avenue from 15 January.
