Last Christmas, for a very personal reason. My grandma gave me this disease; she showed me my very first episode of Doctor Who when I was five. An old VHS of Planet of the Spiders. It ignited a lifelong love of this show, it’s tenets and belief in the power of people to change. Ten years ago today, we watched this episode together. A week later, she’d died of a heart attack in her sleep. Every Christmas is last Christmas. Treasure them all

It's a toughie because IMHO Twelve had comfortably the strongest run with specials, but gotta give it to Husbands for paying off a tragedy more than 7 years in the making (with a heartwarming twist)

I'd say Husbands of River Song is objectively the best, but as a huge superhero fan, Doctor Mysterio holds a special place in my heart

They are all my favorites but I'm I'm forced to choose it would have to be Last Christmasonly because the story line was fascinating! Very Christmasy and just FUN!! Loved Nick Frost and the aging of Clara, but it's really a Tie with Husband's of River Song,. I didn't really LOVE the storyline but hey, IT BROUGHT BACK RIVER SONG!!!!! I'm a HUGE River Fan. Loved Doctor Mysterio Alot, great storyline and the young man playing The super hero/nanny was great, but then Twice Upon A Time had brought back David Bradley playing Doctor # 1 and he was GREAT, we got to see Bill & Nardole, but loved seeing Mark Gaddis, hadn't seen him since he was with #10. Plus it was a GREAT Storyline!! See...told you it was a tough choice!!

I need to see them. I only saw one of the Tennant ones with the evil snowmen...funnily enough, there is an applicable Yu-Gi-Oh card called Snowman Eater, and that card matters even to this day.

Very tough call, b/c Twelve's specials were all fantastic. I ended up having to flip a coin btwn THORS and TUAT. THORS won, but I love the others too.

I've never been able to see The Return of Doctor Mysterio as it's not on YouTube. Somewhere else said it was because it was a Christmas special but all the Ten, Eleven and other Twelfth Doctor Christmas specials are available on the official channels. I didn't even know it existed until recently. I'm UK but don't have a TV. I've been able to buy the others to own but not this. It's really odd.
