When I was a teenager I was looked at as a loss cause. Everyone predicted that I would be dead or in prison. My family urged my mother to just give up on me and stop wasting her time. But in fact I was never a loss cause, I just needed someone to help me understand my possibilities and really take the time out to give me proper direction. Now that I have matured and become the person that no one ever thought that I could be, I feel it is my duty to Reach back to the people who are in the same shoes that I was once in. This has become my mission.
After seeing the poverty and limited opportunities for the youth in the Philippines, I decided to help my bro @ThirdFlo along w/ @pareyoung1988 to start a community center in his neighborhood. We raised more than 25k with the thanks of my supporters and we worked tirelessly to build a computer center to teach the kids in the community skills that will give them a better chance at success but more importantly give them the hope that they can actually become more than what society has labeled them to be. That is my reason for doing what I do, and I couldn’t be prouder of myself. We are only here for a short time, and what I choose to do with my time is to help the people that others just walk by.
