Where’s the option for “Idk how the hell to feel about this fever dream?”

I think it's a little overrated but not by much. This show is one of the funniest things on TV, and it is exactly what adult swim was made for

It's like the crack-aided tv shows they make for kids nowadays, but for adults.

Ignore that guy that said "100% no". Its an objectively well made show and I suggest watching it. If its not your thing then sad but its a weird and whacky show that combines everyday casual life with ideas that come from LSD trips.

I've only seen clips, but this show feels like another Athf with how surreal it gets. Both shows have bizarre situations and characters (I.e ATHF's Hand Banana and SF's Mr. Frog. SF's guy living in the wall on a computer getting all defensive towards Allen when he mentions he isn't supposed to be there at all. Master Shake selling everyone out to Boost Mobile which brings along a giant flip phone to advertise BM)

Only watched the first season, didn't really like it. Although I do intend to watch the second season as I've heard it does improve. But in case anyone was wondering for some specifics here's why I felt it fell short of my expectations. While the animation wasn't too terrible, they even flexed their muscles here and there for it, they also did rely on cheap short cuts left and right and for a full series that got grading. (I have the same issue with invincible for example) Then the characters ended up feeling very bland, or absolutely forced in terms of absurdity. I guess for that I wanted them to either reel it in just a bit for like, the annoying voices and insane logic, or go even further and hold absolutely nothing back. The balance just felt off more often than hitting for me. Ultimately it's something that requires being either really really low on sleep, or really high on something else. And they squandered opportunities for interesting but still wacky and bizarre plot lines! Like the guy in the wall, and then the frowning friends who definitely should have been a season arc and more subtle as they built up their business over the first few episodes. as well as the issue of invoking political problems without actually saying anything on them either w I don't feel everything needs to be political, but they were the ones who kept bringing stuff like racism and gender issues up while conveniently not actually saying anything about them. Also I was sorely disappointed because it seemed at first like they were going for a "world as described by 4chan loons" but didn't really get into that enough to do it well or poorly.
