I saw an excellent documentary on Tasmania where they speak extensively about the Tasmanian tiger. I hope we are able to acquire the rights to stream here and then you all will be able to see it too.

They died off on the mainland about 4000yrs ago when Malaccan fishermen introduced dingoes, which is a dog. They survived in Tasmania until the thirties Newcastle Australia 🦘🦘🦘

There also was a Tasmanian lion but it went extinct around 40,000 years ago. Not sure if it had the same range but I believe Australia and Tasmania.

It's such a shame that greedy and selfish hunters essentially wiped out the Tasmanian tiger because they prized it's unique fur pattern and how much money they could get for it. Such a tragedy.
