Just here waiting for my girls to fall asleep. I read to my girls every night. I am sure you can tell with my read aloud videos.
I keep thinking to myself that this isn’t real. I never thought that, considering how I look, that I would ever be a mother!
Now! Here I am….a mother to three beautiful girls.
Everyday I wonder if I am doing a good job. With my epilepsy, I am out of it two to three times a day. I still manage to cook their meals, clean up house a bit, play with them. Make sure they take their showers!
The true thing that keeps me knowing that I am doing okay is their hugs and kisses. They even fight me with their daddy. They don’t like to share me with him! Ha ha!
If you ever fear you are not a good enough parent, especially if you have a disability of some sort, let their hugs and kisses be your reminder that you ARE!!!!
