28 hours later for a prequel to 28 days would have been cool or the comic getting adapted to a TV series , but I am STOKED for 28 Years later. JUSTICE FOR 28 MONTHS LATER, JAN-DEC HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN.

In case anyone is surprised and wondering about the brand-new distribution, Andrew Macdonald, co-producer of the movie, bought the film rights of the original movie from Disney (cause of their ownership of the previously known Fox Searchlight now known as Searchlight Pictures), and sold it to Sony in January of this year. Which allowed for the return of Danny Boyle, Alex Garland, and of course Cillian Murphy, making 28 Years Later a reality. However, they only got the rights of the original movie, 28 Weeks Later is still owned by Disney as of now

I only recently watched the 28 movies, so this is perfect timing. I'm not a fan of zombie movies, I'm really not, but 28 Days Later is a masterpiece.

I’m so hyped for this i haven’t been hyped for a zombie movie since World war z. Now the people that did zombies right the first time are finally coming back 28 weeks was off the path for me I hope this one brings it back to the absolute powerhouse the first movie was.
