Living Big In A Tiny House

Every now and then, you meet a person who is capable of making you question everything about the way that you live your life. Emma was one of those people for me and to date this remains one of my absolute favourite videos that we have made. If you find yourself occasionally questioning the way we live and the very fabric of society itself, then this is a video that you need to see.

This was truly beautiful episode. It put my life on a better perspective as to how fortunate I am to live in a nice 40’ shipping container in Hawaii surrounded by nature and only 5 years ago lived in a new large custom home in NorCal. I am blessed and so is she!

I agree. It was really nice watching this again. Living here in the Philippines, I have come to really appreciate true low income housing. A small nipa hut can be built here for as little as $200. No one has to go in debt to have a roof over their head. I should add that appearances can be deceiving. Of all of the wealthy looking people in the west living in their nice modern homes, most are not wealthy at all, but rather in debt and living paycheck to paycheck. Where here in the Philippines, most people look poor because of their low priced housing choices, but only about 22% are actually poor. About 78% are actually doing well, not poor at all. Interesting, right?! Looks can certainly be deceiving.

Thank you again for sharing Emma's story, Bryce. It's a constant reminder that we find happiness in simplicity and be one with nature is truly remarkable and humbling. πŸ˜πŸ‘

The best video ever! This woman is in my heart for a long time. Now i think a lot about simplicity of life. I really admire her. She found a parallel reality for her self. I'm looking forward to find my own reality. She is a inspiration ! Thank you very much for creating this video! What a quintessence of living tiny in nature!

Oh, how I wish we could have built our home out of earth, but we live in California, and we have too much to lose. I can't wait for you to see the 271 sq.ft. house on a foundation that we are building right now.
