Board Games in a Minute

I’ve been suspended from posting on BoardGameGeek because apparently calling out Zionists and Zionist shills in this industry is a “personal attack.” This industry can claim to care about Palestinians all it wants, but the fact of the matter is that if you continue to support Zionists in this industry, you do NOT care about Palestinians. I assure you that NO Palestinian who has been orphaned, maimed, starved, or tortured by the Zionist entity of Israel would want your donations if they knew that you stay SILENT about the ROOT CAUSE OF ALL THEIR SUFFERING. Do all these people who CLAIM to care about Palestinians even follow a single Palestinian on Instagram or Twitter? Doubtful. Because if they did, MAYBE then they wouldn’t be the fucking Zionist shills that they are.

You cannot claim to care about Palestinians while supporting Zionist creators in this industry. It was made abundantly clear in 2021 (the recording is still available to listen to, FYI) that Helaina Cappel of KTBG and Burnt Island Games is a ZIONIST. She could not state why saying “Palestinian Lives Matter” was “political” and she was against it, but saying BLM was not. Our Family Plays Games continues to be sponsored by this Zionist publisher. Where is the integrity? You cannot claim to care about DEI and human rights while accepting blood money. There is a reason that pro-Palestinian advocates BOYCOTT companies with Zionist ties. Yet, who would call out a Black family in this industry for lacking integrity? God forbid anyone call out OFPG. Two things can be true at once: they may do great work for the Black community, but they sure as hell aren’t doing shit for the Palestinian cause by accepting Zionist blood money. What happened to holding people accountable?

Other known Zionists in the industry are Quackalope and designer Isaac Shalev. Over 40,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel and the USA (which is funding this genocide). How many Palestinians need to be killed before you will recognize Zionism for the evil that it is? You are the same people who would’ve stayed silent during WWII. Zionists are the Nazis of today. So congratulations for supporting Nazis in this industry and being Nazi shills. It’s been NINE MONTHS OF THIS ONGOING GENOCIDE. Ignorance is no fucking excuse. It wasn’t an excuse in 2021, and it sure as hell isn’t an excuse now. FUCKING EDUCATE YOURSELF. This isn’t “complicated.” Fuck all of you hypocrites, cowards, shills, and sellouts who claim to care about Palestine without uttering a word about Zionism.

Fuck Zionism. Fuck Israel. PALESTINE WILL BE FREE.

@sethwinslow

Respectfully, Zionism isn’t what you think it is. I ama Zionist. Zionism is the idea that Jews have a right to a homeland in their historic, ancestral, land. To believe that Jews, of all ethnic groups in the world, have no right to autonomy, is anti-Semitic. What about the Palestinians? Well, I also believe Palestinians have a right to a homeland in their historic land. There is no reason two states can’t live side by side in peace, prosperity, and dignity. The land is large enough for two states. Palestinians have been treated horribly. Some of it is the fault of the Israeli government. But some of it is self-inflicted. Israelis and Jews have ALSO been treated horribly, not just on October 7. Some of it is because of Israeli government policies. But some of it is due to Palestinian action. Blame belongs on both sides. And empathy should be extended to both sides. See what I’m saying here? I am opposed to many of the current Israeli government’s policies. But I can oppose some of Israeli’s policies WITHOUT denying the humanity of Jews, or the right of Israel to exist, or the right of Israel to defend itself. Hate has gotten us into a mess. Only our humanity, with empathy to those suffering in both sides, will get us out. Respectfully, your one sided humanity and selective empathy is part of the problem.

Beautifully said. For those who want to learn more about how Palestinians have been treated for decades now, I suggest watching the documentaries of the Israelian filmmaker Avi Mograbi (and yes, he is jewish). He did a fantastic job over the years. Palestinians are basically sub-humans in Israel. People who died during the Shoah would be so disgusted by what an alt right racist colonialist country Israel has become. Thanks to the USA.
