I did content moderation for Facebook and Instagram. I was blown away by the amount and variety of truly disturbing content that people try to upload to the platforms all day every day. I guess I was ignorant but you can find this content if you dig a little it’s just not out in the open so much. * Numerous employees at my company filed and won a class action lawsuit for 57 million dollars citing PTSD from viewing this garbage all day every day for months on end. It was an exhilarating job but seriously messed with your mental health which for many people didn’t start popping up until after they left the company and completed their work. I received nearly $30,000 myself from the suit.

Anything anyone creates for good, can and will be twisted into something bad . It takes much effort to prevent this from happening. I'm not surprised warriors battling this problem need mental support from outside. If not, they stand a chance of the same thing happening to themselves. Please support them and all moderators.

It’s so weird to have a private citizen talking with foreign leaders on behalf of the US Government. Tesla has gotten a lot of government money to be where it is currently. SpaceX too.

sorkin wouldn’t have a convo with someone who wouldn’t get viewers, so I don’t know about discovering views. Also, Elon runs a semiprivate company with shareholders and a board of directors.

I can imagine, I'm not a moderator, just a normal user of social media, and I still see so much stuff I have to report
