Dr Syl

Hi fam! Sorry I’ve not posted a new video in a while. Just in the midst of finding a place to live and good news - we found a place!
Will be moving in in June and looking to be posting 1-2 a week once I’ve moved in.
Make sure to comment below any videos you want reactions too/ any mental health topics you want discussed!
Can’t wait to get back into this!

@YDdraigBach

Congrats on the new place! Maybe looking at the indications for lithium in mental illness and the risks of lithium toxicity.

I highly recommend House MD: Season 3 Episode 20: “House Training”. It deals with difficult conversations surrounding medical mistakes, very well done and compelling.

I was thinking about your channel the other day after I noticed there’s been no new posts lately - glad to hear you’re okay! 🙂 I’ve been trying to find more information about eating disorders with comorbid PTSD. There’s been some specific PTSD triggers for me lately which have resulted in disordered eating again (restriction/calorie control, anxiety around gaining weight). I’ve never been treated for an E/D or diagnosed with one, so even videos about those things occurring together (with or without an official E/D diagnosis) would be really awesome since it seems to be a bit niche 🤗

Would love something about DID and the misconceptions surrounding it

I think reacting to House MD will be very fun for both you and the audience. Really hoping you’ll have time for it!

Good luck with the move I’m sure it will go great. As for recommendations, scrubs “my no good reason” but it’s a two partner with the next episode as well.

@Trippintrees

Can you make one (maybe a short) on limerence and MaDD, and the kind of mental health disorders/ issues they're most associated with?

Would you consider descriptions of people who receive divine messages in religious and historical texts are about people experiencing psychosis?

Somatic symptom disorder and agoraphobia please (I am told I got here by having a maladaptive stress response).
