I think it's great that Gen Z tend to place a higher value on work-life-balance over hustle culture. As a younger millennial, I feel the same way. But I also take pride in doing good work, and I work hard when I'm at work, even if work is not my life. I feel like I do see more slacking off in the workplace now than we used to, and customer service suffers as a result. I don't think it's even the same as being lazy either, but I think culturally we have kind of lost some of the value of customer service, and I do hope that that makes a comeback.
